CodaClass

CodaClass is a private, reliable assistant for early childhood programs. Teachers carry teaching, documentation, planning, family updates, and compliance all at once. CodaClass takes on everything but the teaching.

Teachers speak or type what they see once, and CodaClass tags it to your standards, including ELOF goals. From there it becomes family updates, individualized lesson plans, and review-ready evidence. Because CodaClass builds a complete picture over time, you can ask it anything and get answers grounded in the reality of your classroom.

Directors get detailed dashboards and tools for help with licensing and quality improvement. Parents stay connected with a simple app.

Record observations

Personalize instruction

Identify gaps

Built for real classrooms

Effortless documentation — speak or type notes and get automatic tagging for developmental domains, settings, and standards (add photos or videos if you want)

Family updates — turn observations and notes into parent-ready updates, progress summaries, and home activity ideas

Personalized planning — plans cite how students' needs are met: the standards applied, the data used, and the scaffolding tailored to every student

Chat with your classroom data —from “who has a nut allergy” to “why does Viola shut down at transitions,” answers come from each child’s file and your observations, with the evidence cited

Keep your data private — built for FERPA and COPPA. Your prompts are never saved or used to train models. A completely offline version runs locally on capable devices.

And more when you need it

Get licensing answers — check ratios, staffing, capacity, inspection prep, and more against state requirements, with citations

See what’s missing — identify missing documentation, inventory shortfalls, and areas to strengthen so you’re better prepared for quality reviews

Plan validation — upload your standard lesson plans and reveal how they meet your students’ individual needs

Attendance & routines — record arrival, meals, and nap for the entire class with a single tap

Smart inventory — mark what you use (items, routines, songs, or custom entries) so CodaClass suggests only what you have on hand

How personalization works

1. Understands what you need — knows your students, standards, classroom framework, schedule, and materials, and interprets what you’re asking for in that context

2. Gathers the right information — collects student records, IEPs, observations, developmental benchmarks, health and safety needs, available materials, and more

3. Maps developmental stages — uses each student’s skill levels, interests, goals, and recent observations to differentiate supports and next steps, aligned to your classroom standards (such as ELOF and state standards like IELDS)

4. Returns answers and plans with evidence — responses cite specific standards and student data, delivering documented personalization you can edit, save, or share for review
